Pre-nuptual Agreements
(before marriage)
It is possible to set out proposed arrangements for division of assets in case of marriage breakdown prior the marriage. Such an agreement may be a significant factor for the court to consider but is not binding on the court when considering resolution of financial issues but will however be persuasive and will be considered in conjunction with all other factors (see FINANCES).
Our Team can provide advice as to the benefits and shortfalls of these Agreements.
If you have any queries in this regard, please contact Kate Ryan or Joanna Pyne
